Banksia Grove Project Manager UDIA Young Professional 2009 Banksia Grove’s project manager Jeremy Cordina has been named the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Young Professional for 2009.The prestigious annual scholarship worth over $5000 is awarded to a promising young professional who will act as an ambassador for younger professionals working in the property development industry. UDIA CEO Debra Goostrey said the award “recognizes someone who not only shows great potential in their personal career, but has proven enthusiasm for contributing to the wider industry.” “Jeremy is passionate about his work with Banksia Grove and the affordability and sustainability measures that they are implementing in that development,” Ms Goostrey said. He has also made time to volunteer for the UDIA’s Sustainable Urban Development Committee and further his education through postgraduate study for an MBA. Jeremy said he was honoured to receive the award and looked forward to working with the UDIA as the young professional ambassador over the next 12 months.Banksia Grove general manager Tony Naughtin congratulated Jeremy on the well deserved honour. Although this is a personal achievement for Jeremy, his enthusiasm, ideas and commitment is a huge asset for the Banksia Grove project. |
